Voyages of Discovery Dining Information

Voyages of Discovery offers elegant cuisine that combines classical favorites with special highlights reflective of the exotic destinations you will visit. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are arranged on an open-sitting basis and may be taken in the ship's restaurant or 'al fresco'. Continental breakfast is also available in your cabin, vegetarian options will be available onboard, and on select evenings you'll have a casual dining option.

Main Dining Room Policies: In the evening, there are three restaurants onboard to choose from: The Discovery Restaurant and the less formal Veranda Restaurant. On selected evenings, the Explorer Club, a specialty dining restaurant, offers an alternative dinner menu at no extra charge and reservations must be made onboard.

Dress Code: Attire in The Discovery Restaurant is country club casual on most nights, with select evenings requiring formal attire. On country club casual nights, ladies are requested to wear dresses or blouses with skirts or long trousers. For gentlemen, buttoned shirts with collars and long trousers and closed toe shoes are recommended. On formal nights, ladies should wear evening gowns or cocktail dresses, while gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or dark suit with tie. In the Veranda Restaurant, dress is always casual and shorts and sandals are permitted. Finally, in the Explorer Club, semi-formal attire is required. Ladies may wear dresses or blouses with skirts or trousers and gentlemen are required to wear a jacket, suit with long trousers and close toed shoes.

Beverage Policy: Beverages are not included in your cruise fare.

Special Requests: Voyages of Discovery can usually make provisions for special meal requests provided that sufficient notice is given. Please indicate any requests at time of booking. They will make every effort to satisfy your request, although this cannot be guaranteed. Kosher meals are not available.

Dining Rooms onboard Voyages of Discovery are smoke-free.
